Aims & Objectives

Investing time now to yield an intellectual generation for tomorrow…

The years spent at school shape and form an individual. Therefore, here at OTHS we are aware that you entrust your daughters into our care with great expectations and trust. We treat that responsibility with due importance and strive to create individual young women who are rounded educationally, spiritually and emotionally.

The individuality of every girl holds the key to their success…

At OTHS, our students are all seen to be individuals, each with their own personality, strengths, aspirations and needs. Our aim is to nurture every girl to achieve her absolute potential. Each student’s aspirations become the goal of every member of staff within OTHS. At the end of each student’s school life we want to take pride in what they have achieved as individuals and feel encouraged for the bright future that lies ahead of them.

Achieving much more than  just  education…

During the five years that your daughter will spend at OTHS, you can be assured that she will be achieving much more than just education. From the minute our students walk through the school doors, they begin to create bonds with like-minded friends. The school encourages harmonious relationships which are reflected in every aspect of the school life. This prepares your daughters to engage as confident members of the society. Our aim is to turn these girls into young women who can debate, reason and cohere with the wider society.

Establishing and reinforcing their  identity…

In Islam, we believe that a mother’s lap is the first school for every child, and surely we are educating a group of intellectuals who will go onto being the first school for another generation to come.  It is our aim to equip our girls not just with the knowledge of the world around them, but also with the understanding and appreciation of their Deen (Islam).

Our daily routine encompasses a reminder of their identity; from our uniform policy through to our code of conduct. Our pledge is to guide your daughters through their journey at our school by instilling a sense of personal responsibility and accountability for all that they do through the understanding and fear of Allah. We hope that they will leave our care proud to be who they are, yet fully capable of interacting with the multi-cultural society that we live in.
